A magnificent monument, built in 1921, at a site chosen by Marshal Ferdinand Foch, in order that the two Battles of the Marne could be commemorated there.

The Memorial is a place for remembering all of the soldiers who died during the First World War.

It is a very popular place to visit, and hosts more than 19,000 visitors each year.
